Strawberry Avocado Smoothie

Rarely do I make the same smoothie more than once.  Not because I don’t like one, more because I want to try a new recipe each time.  This smoothie, however, I’ve made three times in a very short amount of time.  Because it’s THAT GOOD!  My son and nephew tried it and really liked it too.

Strawberry Avocado Smoothie

15 1/4 oz can crushed pineapple

2 cups frozen strawberries

1 avocado

1 banana

1 cup cottage cheese

Mix it up…slurp it up.  It’s pretty thick…but thick in a good way.  You could eat it with a spoon if you’re into that.

*Avocados mean Better Nutrient Absorption Research has found that certain nutrients are absorbed better when eaten with avocado. In one study, when participants ate a salad containing avocados, they absorbed five times the amount of carotenoids (a group of nutrients that includes lycopene and beta carotene) than those who didn’t include avocados.
