Remember a while back when I promised you I’d try making a smoothie with cottage cheese? Well, that’s all I use now! I love it! Even my son, who does NOT like cottage cheese, likes my smoothies! See what you think of this recipe I whipped up today.
Fruit Cottage Smoothie
1 1/2 cups canned mandarin oranges (with juice)
1 cup frozen cherries
1 cup frozen strawberries
2 large handfuls baby spinach
1 cup cottage cheese
I started out making this with only the cherries but thought strawberries would be a nice touch. YUM! It’s not the prettiest thing to look at but it’s very tasty!
*Cottage cheese is known to enhance blood formation, strengthen the liver and facilitate absorption of nutrients.
