*Avocado has sometimes received a “bad rap” as a vegetable too high in fat. While it is true that avocado is a high-fat food (about 85% of its calories come from fat), the fat contained in avocado is unusual and provides research-based health benefits.
1 1/2 cups milk
1 1/2 cups orange juice (I used Simply Orange.)
2 cups frozen mixed fruit (mango, pineapple, peach, strawberry blend.)
1/3 cup vanilla yogurt
This was very tasty. I was surprised by my daughter’s reaction to this. She complained of it tasting like banana! Not avocado! This was a winner!
